Our Story
At Hitch-Point Trailers, our journey began from the roots of a family-run trailer dealership. In 2012, my father and I founded Hitch-Point to address a gap we noticed in the market. Coming from Minnesota, a state often ranked as a top seller of aluminum trailers, we had a deep understanding of what customers were looking for in a trailer. As dealers for over 20 different product lines, we frequently received customer requests that our aluminum trailer suppliers couldn’t meet due to cost and inflexibility. So, we decided to take matters into our own hands and build a brand that would deliver on those customer desires. Thus, Hitch-Point Trailers was born.
Our rapid growth led us to establish a dedicated manufacturing facility in Phoenix, AZ, to keep up with increasing demand and to position Hitch-Point as one of the nation’s leading manufacturers of aluminum utility trailers.

Cost: Short-Term vs. Long-Term
Steel trailers may be cheaper upfront but tend to incur higher maintenance costs over time due to rust and corrosion. In contrast, aluminum trailers, although more expensive initially, require minimal maintenance and offer a better resale value.
Strength and Flexibility
Aluminum used in our trailers is a strong alloy, just like steel, but it offers greater flexibility. This flexibility allows aluminum to withstand stress and return to its original shape, whereas steel is more rigid and less forgiving.

Aluminum trailers are 30-50% lighter than steel trailers, allowing for higher load capacities and better fuel efficiency.

Venture spends their greatest energies to address the world’s greatest injustices, including human trafficking, refugee crises, and extreme poverty. We intentionally target areas with less than 2% Gospel Witness, and that receive less than 1% of all Christian Giving.
Venture’s administrative expenses are 100% covered by Basecamp, a generous group of individuals and businesses. This means that 100% of our donations through your purchase go straight to Venture international programs. Every dollar equals one full dollar, every time.
