Aluminum Utility Trailers

Are the sides removable?

Yes, however without the sides walls you will not be able to latch/secure your bi-fold ramp. Also, many of our fenders use the side rails as a 3rd point of contact.

Do you make utility trailers in a tandem axle configuration?

Our tandem axle trailers start at 14ft models and go up to 20ft.

Do you offer higher sides?

We offer 12” rail sides, 18” or 26” solid sides on our aluminum trailers.

Do you offer this with a straight ramp?

We do not, Bi-fold ramps are our standard option. (Only our Heavy Duty, and Steel Eco trailers are fitted with straight ramps).

What makes aluminum better than steel?

It is light weight, durable, and will not rust. Leading to a trailer that will last a lifetime.

Brakes are not required on single axle models due to the lighter payload capacity and weight of the trailer. The DOT requirement varies state by state however the general rule is that any trailer with a G.V.W.R (Gross Vehicle Weight Rating) under 2990 lbs does not need brakes.

Can I use this trailer for a SxS/UTV?

Yes, keep in mind the wet weight of your SxS/UTV and the payload rating of the trailer. SxS/UTV are heavy and you do not want to max out the payload of the trailer etc. Also understanding that the posted specifications online do not always account for aftermarket parts, driver weight, or fluids in the machine.

Yes however aftermarket D-rings are now installed with welded in backing and do not carry the same capacity. We charge $65 each installed or $10 loose.

How do I keep my aluminum trailer looking new?

Regularly washing and drying your trailer will help prevent stains. If water remains on the aluminum for too long, especially in the sun, it can oxidize the material, resulting in a yellow stain. We recommend using Aluma Bright, WD-40, or acid-based cleaners for the best results. However, always test these cleaners on a small, inconspicuous area of the trailer first, as they may remove some of the protective coating.

Why is the tongue bolted-on?

A bolt-on tongue is more expensive to produce but saves money on logistics, helping to keep our overall costs down. This decision makes our trailers a more economical option. Additionally, the bolt-on tongue is stronger than all 2″-3″ welded C-channel tongues.

Is it as sturdy as a welded trailer?

Yes, we use heavy-duty hardware and nylon locking nuts. Our bolt-on design is just as strong as any other utility trailer on the market. Some might even say our design is superior due to the ease of replacing all components.
