Axle Warranty

Warranty Coverage

This warranty applies to all Hitch-Point Axle products listed here (each referred to as a “Product,” collectively as “Products”). To ensure a valid claim under this warranty, please follow the guidelines in the Hitch-Point Axle Operation Maintenance and Service Manual. This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear (refer to the “Exclusions” section).

Hitch-Point Axle warrants solely to the original purchaser (the “Purchaser”) from the retail date that the Products will be free from material and craftsmanship defects, subject to specific restrictions and warranty periods:

Limited 5-Year Warranty – Torsion Axles: Five (5) years
Limited 3-Year Warranty – Spring Axles: Three (3) years
Limited 2-Year Warranty – Leaf Springs: Two (2) years
Limited 3-Year Warranty – Bearings: Three (3) years
Limited 1-Year Warranty – Grease Seals: One (1) year

This warranty covers the initial retail purchase by the Purchaser only. Any components or parts added to the Products by a third party are not covered. The Purchaser is responsible for the quality or performance of parts not covered by this warranty.

Non-Transferable

This warranty is non-transferable and applies exclusively to the Purchaser. It does not extend to any third party, including subsequent purchasers of trailers incorporating these Products.

Exclusive Remedy

If a claim is submitted during the warranty period, Hitch-Point Axle may, at its discretion, repair or replace the affected components or entire Product, or provide a refund, subject to conditions outlined herein. Payment for installation or repair under this warranty requires advance written approval by Hitch-Point Axle. Failure to obtain written permission will void any future warranty obligations and result in no reimbursement for installation or repair costs.

This warranty constitutes the sole remedy for the Purchaser and the entire liability of Hitch-Point Axle for breaching this warranty. Replacement parts or Products authorized by Hitch-Point Axle assume the remaining warranty term or a 90-day coverage from the replacement or repair date, whichever offers more extended protection. Replaced or refunded items become the property of Hitch-Point Axle.

Warranty Claim Procedure

To initiate a claim within the warranty period, the Purchaser must:

1. Be the original retail purchaser of the trailer or recreational vehicle with the Products installed initially.
2. Ensure that Products are installed and maintained according to industry standards and Operating Manual specifications.
3. Notify Hitch-Point Axle of any alleged claim or defect within the specified time frames and include necessary details.
4. Follow Hitch-Point Axle’s return, repair, or replacement instructions and refrain from altering the Products without authorization.

Exclusions

This warranty does not cover defects resulting from:

• Improper use or operation of Products
• Use of Products on a different trailer than initially installed
• Alterations by Purchaser or third parties
• Failure to comply with maintenance requirements
• Unauthorized repairs or changes to Products
• Normal wear and tear
• Improper installation, alignment, or use of non-supplied parts

Limited Warranty Limitations

The Purchaser acknowledges that no representations or warranties beyond those stated herein have been made. Hitch-Point Axle excludes incidental, special, exemplary, and consequential damages arising from a breach of warranty, limited to the purchase price of the Products.
